One of the frozen “suncatchers” we made in the winter

We love getting outside in all weather and being present to observe the seasons change in our afterschool programming at Folsom School. This winter, we enjoyed the surplus of snow and celebrated cold weather, drinking warm pine needle tea and creating frozen sun catchers.

In our spring club, we’ve enjoyed seeing the birds return and buds emerge. We did springtime farm activities like tapping maple trees, working with sheared wool, and planting seeds in the garden. We also explored the Rec Park, playing games and observing seasonal changes.
