Does your little one love spending time by the water watching and catching frogs? Hop on over to the Recreation Park next to Folsom School on Monday, August 18th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM for a fun-filled morning dedicated to our froggy friends!
Join two of our summer interns, Sidra and Isabel, as we dive into the lifecycle of a frog, listen to their calls and explore their habitat by catching, identifying and releasing them at the pond.
This program is open to children ages 3-5 years old, though older siblings are welcome. A parent or caregiver must accompany your child. We will provide nets and tubs for catching any creatures we may find, but feel free to bring your own gear if you have it. Please ensure your child comes prepared with clothing and shoes that can get wet and muddy. Water sandals or boots are recommended.
Site information: The South Hero Rec Park is a public town park, with parking shared with the Folsom School. There is a ~0.5mile hiking trail system, including a 450’ wooden boardwalk.
