Join us on Wednesday, September 2nd from 9am-11am at the Islandacres Trail for a volunteer work party. We will be working on one section of the trail that goes through woods. Projects will include: flagging the trail, removing debris, clearing and leveling the trail with hand tools, and some invasive removal. Meet at 9 am at the Masonic Lodge at 40 South St.

The Islandacres Trail is SHLT's newest public access trail, linking South Street with Tracy Road. Running along the Islandacres Farm's fields and the borders of the Roy Marsh, this 1.2 mile trail is being built in 2026 and will include accessibility features, interpretive signage, and beautiful views of the marsh.

All are welcome. We will meet at the Masonic Lodge Parking Lot at 40 South St.  

Please Bring: Water bottle, bug spray, gloves (we’ll have extra), and clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.
